Stage Set-up
What equipment is needed?
- Adequate stage lighting focused on piano, performer, and mics.
- 1 tuned grand piano or baby grand piano placed center stage with lid open to short stick towards audience, or comparable electric keyboard placed center stage with keys upstage, and bench. (A) ○ If acoustic piano: appropriate amplification for the space.
- 1 boom mic stand placed upstage of piano keyboard (or stage left of electronic keyboard). (B)
- 1 vocal mic, on boom mic stand. (B)
- 1 small table, stage right of piano bench (C)
- 1 handheld MC mic, placed on small table/stool or on mic stand down stage center (D)
- 1 8x10ft area rug, under the bench, extending away from the piano (E)
- 1 practical table lamp with 30w bulb or less, placed on the table (F)
- 1 full pitcher of water and glass on small table. Bottles are unacceptable. (G)
Artist Accommodations & Travel
- Dressing room with mirror, clothes rack and restroom
- Unsalted roasted mixed nuts, 70% (or more) dark chocolate, Babybel original mini cheese wheels
- Four complimentary tickets to performance
- Travel and accommodations as negotiated
- Daily stipend if needed
